SAP Ariba modules

Sourcing

Tenders can be created directly in SAP Ariba, generated from templates or uploaded from S/4HANA. Suppliers submit offers for the RFx directly in the Ariba Portal, which in turn are available to the purchaser in Ariba or S/4HANA without manual maintenance.

Are savings not yet achieved despite tender?

Using a variety of auction strategies, the buyer can set auctions directly through Ariba, putting suppliers in direct competition with each other for further savings. Automatic price comparisons help in the nomination of the cheapest supplier. 
 

Contracts

The results from sourcing are transferred to Ariba Contract Management. In addition, Ariba supports you in creating, negotiating, approving and monitoring standardized legal contracts over the entire term.

Supplier Lifecycle & Performance

The Supplier Lifecycle and Performance Module of Ariba (SLP) offers a wide range of functionalities for professional supplier management. From the registration process using customer-specific questionnaires, approval processes for the release of supplier data, qualification for specific categories to synchronization with the ERP, supplier master data can be processed in a structured and traceable manner.

 

Supplier Risk

Would you like an alert cockpit that presents risks in the supply chain for your company on a daily basis? Ariba Supplier Risk consolidates extensive external and internal sources into a risk scoring model, which is clearly displayed via the so-called Risk Monitor. In addition, buyers receive risk warnings for defined incidents and can therefore make more informed decisions and react faster in case of a problem.

Have you always wanted completely paperless invoice processing?
The Financial Supply Chain can also be automated and improved with Ariba.
The integrated data flow and configurable verification mechanisms reduce process costs, avoid errors and accelerate processes. The Invoice Management Dashboard ensures that all process participants are always up to date.

Guided Buying und SpotBuy

Through Guided Buying, you create the much-cited "Amazon feeling" for your requisitioners, who can create requisitions quickly and easily without training. With stored rules and regulations adapted to your company, compliance violations are a thing of the past.

Does your requester not find the desired article, but you want to minimize free text orders? With Ariba SpotBuy you can access large marketplaces such as eBay to fully automate your long-tail purchasing.

 

Catalog

With Ariba Catalog you have the possibility to combine different sources (local catalogs, internal materials, punchout catalogs or marketplaces) to a comprehensive data pool to provide a cross-catalog search in Guided Buying.
In addition, the supplier can provide you directly with catalog items via SAP Ariba, so that you no longer have to rely on suppliers with punch-out catalogs or take over the maintenance of internal catalogs yourself.

You can use sets of rules to rank suppliers or articles, so that your "preferred suppliers" are displayed as the first results of a search, for example to achieve supplier bundling effects.

 

Buying (Supplier Network)

The Ariba Supplier Network (ASN) is the central backbone for data exchange with your suppliers. The big advantage for you is that you no longer need to operate your own supplier portals or establish EDI connections to individual suppliers. Tenders, orders, order confirmations, shipping notifications and much more are exchanged via a uniform platform.

This results in advantages on both sides. Also the supplier must maintain his data only at one place. And with the so-called "PO Flip" orders of the client can be converted directly into invoices, which can be processed and booked in the ERP more simply.

Suppliers can exchange invoices directly with your company through the Ariba Supplier Network. Integrated invoice processing and approval, including the elimination of invoice differences, is available within Ariba.
