Resource Orchestration is a cloud-based planning tool that enables production controllers to control production processes and monitor relevant events on the shop floor.
With the application, operations can be specifically assigned to work centers and resources and scheduled over time. The system offers a high degree of scheduling flexibility, enabling existing resources to be used as efficiently as possible. Production controllers also gain a comprehensive overview of resource utilization. Operations can be planned, rescheduled or reassigned based on criteria such as order priority, current demand situation or resource availability.
This enables a fast and appropriate response to production events such as machine breakdowns, limited personnel availability or other disruptions.
