The POD Designer
The POD Designer in SAP Digital Manufacturing enables you to visually configure production dashboards (PODs) and optimally adapt them to your manufacturing processes.
How the POD Designer works
Predefined or custom-developed PODs serve as the interface between the operator/machine and SAP DM. Among other things, they support the manufacturing process at operation level from start through to confirmation. By displaying work instructions, enabling manual or automated data collection, and triggering alerts, the operator is guided through the process step by step. In addition, PODs provide full transparency over component assembly as well as automated visual inspection using artificial intelligence and machine learning.
