With the Production Process Designer, you can model and automate complete manufacturing workflows as cloud processes. This means that certain activities are triggered automatically or specifically enforced on the shop floor – without manual intermediate steps.

Example process flow:

Start of production (trigger)
A production process is started, e.g. for a specific resource

Automatically create/start SFC
Creation of a production control number (Start_SFCs)

Collect data on the shop floor
Automatic or mandatory confirmation of manufacturing data (Measure)

Execute measurement and data collection services
The system captures relevant production data via defined services (Log_DC)

Production completion
The manufacturing order is completed automatically (Complete_SFCs)
