SAP Extended Warehouse Management
SAP EWM monitors and controls all processes and goods movements in the warehouse. The successor to the previous SAP Warehouse Management (WM) solution offers a significantly higher range of functions and more extensive architecture options.
SAP EWM is part of SAP Supply Chain Management and, in contrast to SAP WM, not a separate module, but a completely independent system to meet the requirements of intralogistics. Extended Warehouse Management is fully integrated with Inventory Management and Delivery Processing. Business transactions that you trigger in other application components result in physical goods movements in your warehouse. You can organize, control and monitor these goods movements with SAP EWM.
