Group-wide harmonization of CO/PS concept for global rollout.
The Knorr-Bremse Group, headquartered in Munich, is the global market and technology leader for braking systems and a leading supplier of safety-related subsystems for rail and commercial vehicles. Their mission is to enhance rail and road mobility‘s safety, efficiency, and sustainability.
The Knorr project aims to harmonize, roll out, and expand the existing CO/PS concept across the group in line with requirements in order to map the specific requirements of KB processes. Currently, CO processes in the subsidiaries differ considerably in some cases. This heterogeneity leads to inconsistencies in cost control, reduces cross-departmental transparency, and makes efficient accounting difficult. Since process adjustments can also have far-reaching effects on adjacent modules such as CS, PP, SD, PM, and MM, a structural realignment of the CO/PS landscape is essential. A uniform, future-proof overall concept ensures that the value chain is supported throughout and that a consistent, controllable process and system environment is created across the group.
