Overall, SAP Activate is divided into five phases. They are: Prepare, Explore, Realize, Implement, and Execute. Although this may seem like a waterfall model at first glance, SAP Activate works like an agile method. The important thing here is that permanent, continuous innovation takes place in the phases. This means that a return to the previous phase is possible at any time. This is where the advantage of the agile implementation method becomes apparent compared to the waterfall principle.
