Our goal and the goal of SAP Activate is to help you realize the full potential of S/4HANA tailored to your business needs.
Tools
Special tools make the S/4HANA implementation much easier. In the broadest sense, this is a toolbox for implementation and continuous further development after go-live. This means that you can use it to adopt updates and changes to your configuration, continuously stay on the innovation track, and continually adapt your system in an agile manner. IT and business departments can collaborate directly through a configuration with user guidance to achieve the desired goal. This collaboration is documented and is available for later use as a configuration history.
Let us advise you on how to use this tool to strengthen your company and IT through user assistance and business process affinity.
Consistent methodology (Methodology)
SAP Activate uses an end-to-end methodology for any operating model: S/4 in the cloud, on-premise, or in a hybrid environment. The methodology is the starting point for any S/4HANA implementation and is divided into the following components:
Take advantage of the many years of experience of our experts and thus the full potential to introduce S/4HANA more easily with the agile methodology.
Overall, SAP Activate is divided into five phases. They are: Prepare, Explore, Realize, Implement, and Execute. Although this may seem like a waterfall model at first glance, SAP Activate works like an agile method. The important thing here is that permanent, continuous innovation takes place in the phases. This means that a return to the previous phase is possible at any time. This is where the advantage of the agile implementation method becomes apparent compared to the waterfall principle. Since implementation is not a single process, but runs simultaneously on several levels, separate project management saves time in the end. If necessary, individual stages return to a previous stage, correct the critical points found and then go back to the test phase. Other project areas continue to work simultaneously on the introduction.
Phase 1: Prepare
Initial planning and preparation for the project. In this phase, the project is launched, plans are finalised, the project team is assigned and the work required for an optimal project start is carried out.
Phase 2: Explore
Performing a fit/gap analysis to validate the solution functionality included in the project scope and confirm that the business requirements can be met. Identified gaps and configuration values are added to the backlog for consideration in the next phase.
Phase 3: Realize
Using a series of iterations to incrementally build and test an integrated business and system environment based on the business scenarios and process requirements identified in the previous phase. In this phase, data is loaded, deployment activities are performed, and operational operations are planned.
Phase 4: Deploy
Setting up the productive system, confirming readiness on the part of the customer's company and converting business processes to the new system.
Phase 5: Run
Ausführen des neuen Systems, Anwenden von SAP-Betriebsstandards zum Optimieren des Systembetriebs.
