Simplify EHS is an add-on developed by CONSILIO GmbH and CLC xinteg that can be used both on an ECC system and on S/4HANA. The primary goal of the add-on is to merge master data distributed across different transactions and areas. Instead of calling up a new transaction for each characteristic, Simplify EHS allows central data maintenance in a cockpit. Here is an example:

It is important to note that the metadata and the components are individually configurable, just like the folder structure. So if you don't need a predefined data set or want to define your own, you can do so without any additional developments.
The Simplify EHS add-on is integrated into the standard solution in such a way that no additional data maintenance is required here in the respective areas or transactions: The information maintained in the product file is automatically transferred to the standard tables that are addressed with the standard applications. If a product characteristic is maintained in the standard transaction as before - for example, in the material master - the change also appears in the product file.
In addition, Simplify EHS is integrated with other applications and interfaces: Data maintenance can be done via SAP GUI, Outlook & Office, web application (FIORI) and on mobile devices. For example, an email can be loaded directly from Outlook directly into SAP. For users, this means they can go about their work without having to log into the SAP GUI, and data is reliably stored and processed in the SAP system. The good news is that using the product file via FIORI interface or Outlook is not a must. Those who prefer to work in the GUI product file - or even in individual transactions as usual - can do so. But those who need quick access to the data - for example, the approver at the airport - can do everything they need to do conveniently from the app on their smartphone.
An important function of Simplify EHS is the central document management.
